The real meaning of an English camp is to study english in an english speaking society. The three camps: Camp Big Apple, Ranch West Camp, and Head Atart Splash Camp all provides that. All of the camps seem tempting, displaying many good features in their own way in each camp. They all have excellent teachers, good experience, and they all feature an overseas experience with many other kids. All of the camps are good but I personally think Ranch West Camp is the camp for me. Ranch West Camp is the camp I want to go because of 4 reasons.
First, I want to go to Ranch West Camp because the camp provides excellent nature of Canada. You also get a chance to do sports that is hard to do in a city such as horseback-riding, river-rafting. But on the other hand, Camp Big apple might go to America and and the programs provide anything we can do where we live such as tours of the city, visit to local museums, and a trip to a Broadway show. It may provide interesting trips, but it is available at any city but Ranch West Camp provides special events to enjoy and love the special nature of rural Canada
Second, In Ranch West Camp, you can study subjects you want to study. But on the other hand Camp Big Apple forces you to study every subject. People might say that if you study on only a few subjects that you want, you can't learn about the other subjects. But, you are going to a camp, not a school. You can study 4 whole weeks to study on what you are interested in or find your interest. Nowadays, the world is open-minded to professionals, people that do only one thing and they success. But on the other hand, if you do all of the subjects, obviously you can't focus deeply in a subject so you might lose interest in study itself before you find your dream and your future.
Third, I want to go to Ranch West Camp because the teachers at the camp are all native speakers and young, lively people who had just graduated university. They might be inexperienced, but they remember what they learned in their universities more than old, inexperienced people and they have the light and the will to teach. Although the teachers at Camp Big Apple might have good degrees, but we don't even know what subject they graduated in and they are Korean, so it fails the meaning of going to an English camp.
Last but not least, Ranch West Camp provides home-stay situations with a Canadian family. It will be a good experience and an amazing chance to study and live in a Canadian culture, a totally new society and the chance to learn more english.Although Camp Big Apple might have dormitories and the chance to meet new friends, it would fail the whole meaning of an English Camp when the dorms are filled with Korean kids, your english skills would not develop.
In conclusion, I want to go to Ranch West Camp because the camp provides many chances to study english, chance to get out of the big city and live with nature, and to develop and focus on what you want to do. Going to Ranch West camp is the wisest choice of camps.
